This was always one of my favorite apps but it keeps shutting down on me! Ugh.

I bought this app the first time it came out. Its amazing at all the features theyve released since then. Keep up the great work!

Y did u delete the web button. U need to put it back. It is very useful rather than goin around to save the pic and look round fir it. It helps a lot

DiddleBug was a simple and effective program for palmOS. I miss the built in countdown timer. Please Apple help them out by releasing background support!

This is one of the best apps I have downloaded. This is totally worth 6 dollars! I love the ability to take captures of webpages and maps! This app obviously took a lot of work to put together and is COMPLETELY worth 6 dollars! Best useful app so far!!!

I got it while it was on sale a couple of weeks back and with the newest update, this art app is a definent must own. I was thinking of some ideas for the next upgrade: When tapping the "+" button, it should give you the two following choices: Sketch mode (Original mode for Sketches) or (the newly added) Photo edit mode; this exclusive feature is strictly for photo use and itll be used for improving the submitted images visual quality like sharpness, heat/cold, brightness, tint, color, texture, photo rotation/mirror, crop, copy/paste, and other fun icon editors featured previously in the original conception of sketch. Please filfull my wishes for the next update.

This is great. I love the whole app and I strongly reccomend it. The only little problem I have is that when you use a picture from your saved photos it sometimes ends up looking wierd because its too zoomed in. But its all good. By the way, whens the update coming out!? Ive been waiting

Ok app. One star cause of the extremely high price. Not worth 5 bucks. Theres a lot of apps for 99 cents that are way better.

Ive been looking for an app for a while that would let me add my own "things" to my pictures--text, drawing, etc... and this one has far surpassed my expectations!! hands down this is the best $4.99 Ive spent for my iPhone since Ive had it. This app does everything it says, and does it WELL. two thumbs up--Ive already had 2 of my iPhone friends purchase it too! well worth the price! and look forward to future updates!

This kind of actions by app developers could give the app store a bad name. Instead of updating their apps they release new versions as 2 or 3 and charge a full price for the new app. Sketches 2 should simply have been an update to sketches 1. The app it self is rather useless and a one trick pony fun for a few times but then back to evernote or younote.

Description: This is just the flat out best app I have ever used. The ease of being able to select your "Sketches" is perfect, and the simple layout and ease of use for first time users is also a good factor. It is not for actual art, though, because the drawing tools are relatively simple. It is a lot better than most of the other apps that faal into a category similar to this, and it comes with built in icons so you can add them to your sketch. One of the coolest things about it is the ability to add in text in 3 different fonts. For example, if you had a name tag (Which comes integrated as one of the icons) and you just cant fit your name on it, you can type, "Hello, my name is... And then put your name on it, save it as a sketch, and put it in the middle of your shetchboard. As you can see, this is by far the best and easiest way to organize your thoughts in an instant, whether in a meetIng, at school, or if you just got he most brilliant idea that you have ever thought of, this is the way to go.

Here is an in-depth rundown of the new Sketches 2 vs the old Sketches 1.7.6 Overall pretty much everything is improved upon & speedier The GUI is much improved. Things like switching backgrounds are easily changed without going back and forth in and out of the background icon. For instance in V1 it took 3 taps to change backgrounds. In V2 you just click through the different backgrounds as they change immediately. Adding Text appears right over the image letter by letter and defaults to being straight and level instead of the old way of having to maneuver your text, level it & resize at the same time pinching in & out. Ink - Vast color picking wheel vs the old version that just had 24 colors. Scaling dot size was a guess with the old version. V2 Now has a HUD that changes size as you drag left & right. Eraser - seems the same. Opacity - the old version just has 3 types of transparency, the new version has a slider with numerous percentages of transparency which uses the same HUD slider as the ink icon. Brushes - Included in V2 not available in V1. There are 5 different brushes. Shapes - V2 has much more shapes than V1. The Categories are: Geometric, Fun, Office, Sports, Gadgets, Holidays, Party, Merchandise, Map, Callout, Lines and Arrows. Library Backgrounds - no noticeable changes here. All in all, it is a good upgrade. The price seems fair. Im glad I upgraded

60% off??? What! I paid full price! Well, anyways, the app is very well designed, but its missing a couple key features, for good reasons I suppose, but features that would be very welcome by me at least. Effects (like in photobooth), adjustments (like in iPhoto), and more colors (not a big deal, but it would be nice...)

My three boys love this app. It was one of their favorites on my jailbroken iPhone. Now Ive downloaded it from iTunes and they are pestering me to play it. Its a sharp app that is well designed and full of extra features. You can save pictures to your photo album and add funny things like party hats, sports stuff, and computer items to pictures. Lots of fun here and reminds me of diddlebug from my Palm days.

Dude Im a kid that buys games and stuff on the app store, and if I buy an app with a price . . . I PAY FOR IT. Buying sketches 2 seems great, but for $4.99 no way. Make it free or a dollar

It is pretty each to figure out and my 5 year old loves it. It was worth the few bucks I shelled out for it, easily.

Ive tried a few of the drawing apps now and this is my favorite. Honestly Im not going to go through a hundred of them and try them all. I liked the features of this one and how easy it is to use, so Im going to stick with it until something makes big news and pulls my attention to it. I like that we can draw on photos, my kids get a huge kick out of that. And for the price (which I was happy to find was less than I expected after finding it off a blog about drawing apps) its really worth not having the ads like DoodleBuddy had. I was always nervous about them clicking on those. Not to mention they were annoying. I like the different fun things you can add, like a mustache or party hat. And the fact that you can change the size and angle of those items makes it extra fun. The drawing is much smoother than DoodleBuddy was too. No silly noises, just fun colors and doodling. You can zoom in on parts of the pic, thats fun. I also like that you can save the pic to the app and come back to it later really easily. I dont want to save every little doodle to my photoalbum. And they are easy to delete without having it happen accidentally. The corkboard you save your drawings on is neat to look at too. Theres great sketches already in the app when you open it that teach you how to use all the features, that was really nice. So all in all Im very happy with this, and so is my family. Two thumbs up for Sketches!
